What if… Those are some pretty powerful words. And when you think about how much we get already in our games, add a little What If to the mix and we could get some truly outrageously awesome situations.

With all due pomp and ceremony, I hereby present… “PIPES”, a mashup of two classic and timeless game series, Portal and Mario.
This whole design was done in Paint. No Photoshop! MS Paint! Yessir!
I got to thinking one day about the similarities between them, which is to say, not many, BUT THAT DIDN’T STOP ME! Using the only link I could think of between the two games (warppipes are like portals, at least to me), I created this design as more of a What If kinda situation. Like what if GlaDOS has a Mushroom Kingdom test chamber, just for shits ‘n giggles, y’know? Then they all started changing into Mario characters, it all went out of control and now I have a very sore drawing hand! But isn’t it just oozing with awesome?!
